Food Truck - Fixed Location


FIXED LOCATION FOOD TRUCK VENDOR LICENSE

Food and beverage vending vehicles seeking to operate from an approved fixed location, such, as a private party, special event, or otherwise from a fixed location for a duration of one hour or more, are required to obtain a Fixed Location Food Truck license under Municipal Code Title 4, Chapter 5, Section 13, Sub-section DD.

Completed Fixed Location Food Truck Vendor License Application with accompanying documents and fees, should be submitted to the office of the Village Clerk during normal business hours. 

Permit Fees

Permit fee ($100/annual; $50/monthly) can be paid online via Point&Pay select "solicitor and food truck permits" from drop down menu and enter food truck vendor name in permit number section.

Please review Municipal Code Title 4-5 regarding Food or Beverage Vending Vehicles prior to application.  

Food vendors, including but not limited to food or beverage mobile vending vehicles and farmer’s market food vendors, shall report and pay Sales Taxes to the State and shall additionally  register to pay the Prepared Foods Tax  to the Village, as a condition of licensure.  Upon completion of sales, food vendor operators  must  remit the required Prepared Food Tax of 2% of total sales, required under Village Code. 

All food vendors must be properly permitted through the Kane County Health Department. Visit the Kane County Health Department website for more information.
