In order to engage in the commercial activity of a peddler, solicitor, itinerant merchant, or non-stationary food or beverage/ice cream vendor a Solicitation Vendor Application must be completed and submitted to the Village Clerk by mail or in person to the Pingree Grove Municipal Center, 555 Reinking Road, Pingree Grove, IL 60140, during regular business hours of Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, or emailed to email@example.com.

Solictation Vendor Fees:
Application & License Fees (all fees are non-refundable)
Peddlers License – per day
Solicitor License – per day
Itinerant Merchants License – per day
Non-Stationary Food or Beverage/Ice Cream Vendors License – per (1) month
Fees are due at time of application and may be paid online indicating vendor name in the "permit number" section.
Non-Stationary Food or Beverage/Ice Cream Vendors
Non-stationary Food or Beverage/Ice Cream vendors, including but not limited to farmer’s market food vendors, shall report and pay Sales Taxes to the State and shall additionally remit Prepared Food Tax (2% of total sales) required under Village Code. All operators shall be required to register to pay the Prepared Foods Tax as a condition of licensure. Complete the prepared food tax registration and return with Solicitation Vendor application. The Prepared Food Tax Return form is to be submitted at the conclusion of the soliciation period. All food/ice cream vendors must also be properly inspected/permitted through the Kane County Health Department. Visit the Kane County Health Department website for more information.
