Village Board
The Village of Pingree Grove, Kane County, Illinois was established in 1907, and is a non-home rule municipality, meaning that the local government derives its authority directly from the state of Illinois.
The Village operates under the Trustee-Village form of government with the legislative body consisting of six trustees elected at-large, serving the entire Village population as a whole. Trustees serve four-year staggered terms, with three members elected every two years, in odd-numbered years. The number of trustees does not vary with population size. The President is elected to four-year terms. The Village Clerk is a non-elected office, appointed by the president with the advice and consent of the board of trustees.
The Village of Pingree Grove will hold elections on April 4, 2023 for the offices of one (1) Village President, 4-year term, three (3) Village Trustee, 4-year term, and one (1) VillageTrustee, 2-year unexpired term. Vist the Kane County Clerk for a complete list of candidates.
Early Voting
Early voting is available beginning March 10, 2023 - April 3, 2023 at the Kane County Clerk's office 719 S Batavia Ave., Bldg. B, Geneva, IL 60134. Other early voting locations will be available beginning March 20, 2023.
