Pingree Grove is a great place to view a variety of native birds.  Keep an eye out while enjoying the parks, at the local ponds, and even in your own backyard in order to spot hawks, cranes, eagles and more!


Pingree Grove Forest Preserve

The Pingree Grove Forest Preserve is home to Great Blue Herons, nesting Sand Hill Cranes, and a host of fine wetland birds. It is a popular visiting area for viewing the endangered Yellow-headed Blackbird and the American Bittern.
