Yes. The Village is a sponsor of the Ride in Kane County program, offering seniors and those with disabilities, with transportation to medical appointments and grocery shopping. There is no street parking allowed between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. Up to five times a calendar month each homeowner may park on the street overnight after notifying the Police Department by using the Overnight Parking Permission Portal called FrontlinePSS at www.frontlinepss.com/pingreepd. The Village offers a once-a-year recycling event during the month of August, where paint is accepted. Otherwise, latex paint should be left open to dry out, or filled with cat litter to absorb, then can be disposed of with the regular trash collection. Yes. A permit is required for all outside home improvements. Homeowners Association (HOA) approval is reuqired first. Building permtis are not handled at the Village Municipal Center. The Village Police Department provides a drop box inside the lobby, for safe disposal of prescription and over-the-counter medications. The drop box is accessible from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday.
