Municipal Center Re-Opened to Public

Municipal Center, 555 Reinking Road, Pingree Grove

The Municipal Center has recently re-opened to the public. In accordance with recommendations from the CDC and Kane County Health Department, all visitors are required to wear a face mask, fully covering the nose and mouth, at all times while in the building. Social distancing will also be required. If you are not feeling well or believe you may have had a recent exposure to someone who is sick, we request that you use a contactless method for conducting your business with the Village. The Village will also limit the number of members of the public that may enter the building at any given time. Anyone who requires a meeting inside the building (beyond the lobby) will be required to temperature screen prior to entry.

Contactless methods of conducting your business with the Village remain available and are encouraged. The Municipal Center parking lot drop box has re-opened for your use and the temporary drop box located in the Police Department lobby vestibule has been emptied and locked as of Monday, July 27, 2020.

  • Building permit applications will continue to be accepted via the following methods: email (info@pingreegrove.org), parking lot drop box, regular mail, delivery service, or in-person.
  • Utility bills can be paid via the following methods:  online with credit or debit card (2.25% processing fee will be added), personal check dropped off in the Municipal Center parking lot drop box, or either of these methods and including cash in person at the Municipal Center.
    • A direct debit (auto pay) option is also available for payment of Utility Bills. Applications are available for download on the Village’s website (www.villageofpingreegrove.org/autopay). You can also obtain a paper copy at the Municipal Building. A voided check will be required to verify bank account information.
  • Yard waste stickers can be purchased in person or online by making a payment on the Online Bill Pay system. Call 847-464-5533, option 2, for assistance paying online. Yard waste stickers are $2.40 each.

If you have any questions, please contact the Village at 847-464-5533, option 2. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm (closed Noon-1pm for lunch).
