Pingree Grove "See A Truck" This Saturday!!

See A Truck

This Saturday would customarily be our "Touch A Truck" event, which is a beloved community event.  Current public health recommendations advising that we work to eliminate large gatherings and touching surfaces would put a damper on the event...but our amazing Pingree Grove Events Committee reimagined the event as the See A Truck event.  We are doing a Village-wide parade on Saturday, from 12pm - 3pm, as detailed below!  The route is available at this link, so you can find a safe spot to watch!

The Pingree Grove Community Events Committee is excited to bring you our annual Truck Event!🚒🚔

🧭We created a route to hit as many neighborhoods and streets as possible while still being safe. This means that we will not be driving down every street and some neighborhoods are not feasible at this time.

Please look at the map provided to see where we will visit. 📍If you live on a street with no outlet, cul-de-sac, or narrow route we will not be going down your street but will be passing nearby. We are also not able to go out to the main roads.

🚫If you live in a location that we are not able to get to please feel free to drive to an open area to sit and watch but you must try to maintain social distancing. PLEASE!

HOW YOU CAN HELP: We will need your help in your neighborhood. Please make sure you and your neighbors are not parked on the street directly across from another vehicle. Getting these large trucks down each street will not be possible if cars are double parked. 🚗🚗

Enjoy the event, we can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces.
