Please view our latest information regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are continually updating the page to provide information as it becomes available.
Some updates from today include:
The Municipal Center remains closed to the public. Questions can be directed to 847 / 464-5533, ext. 2, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Police Department lobby remains open during normal business hours. We encourage residents to call with concerns (630/232-8400), as we may take reports over the phone or use other techniques to avoid the need for person-to-person contact.
If you are feeling sick, please stay home unless seeking medical care. Current CDC recommendations for those who feel unwell can be found on their website (click the link to view that information). The best practice is to contact your medical care provider via telephone (for non-emergency situations), before going to their office. Even for health concerns, residents are encouraged to reserve 911 for true emergencies.
During times of changes in work and travel patterns (such as current school closures and business disruptions), there is a greater potential for criminal activity. We encourage residents to remain vigilant, keep their cars locked, and keep their yard lights on at night. While we are working to eliminate non-essential person-to-person contact, if you observe suspected criminal behavior, call 911.
There is a lot of inaccurate information being shared on social media. We encourage you to look to official government sites (such as the CDC page) for the most current, accurate information. As there is other information available that impacts our residents, we will share it. This is one of those times when "banding together" means staying apart. Maintain your social distancing, stay healthy, and watch out for your neighbors’ interests. Be safe!
