Utility Bill Due Date

Utilitiy bill payments are due in the even numbered months (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec) by the 1st of the month. Payments received after the due date will incurr a 10% late fee added to the balance of the account. 

Automatic Direct Debit Payments (Auto Pay) - No Service Fee

Avoid late fees - arrange for your utility bill payments to be direct debited automaticaly from your checking or savings account on the date due. Auto pay is a free service. To sign up complete the Auto Pay Form (PDF)attach a voided check or account confirmation from your bank, and submit via email to utilitybill@pingreegrove.org, or drop off at the Village Municipal Center during normal business hours. Your payment for the next billing cycle will be automatically debited from your checking account on the date due. You will continue to receive a copy of your utility bill stamped "DO NOT PAY" for your records .

Online Payment Portal - Service Fee Applies

Pay your utility bill via the Village Online Utility Portal - you will need access to your account number and PIN, both located at the top right portion of your utility bill. Processing fees apply:

  • Debit or credit card payments3% processing fee based on account balance; $1.50 minimum fee. 
  • Electronic check payments - $1.50 flat processing fee

Phone - Point & Pay - Service Fee Applies

Pay by phone via Point & Pay 1-844-904-2281.  Processing fees apply:

  •  Debit or credit card payments3% processing fee based on account balance; $1.50 minimum fee. 
  • Electronic check payments - $1.50 flat processing fee

Additional Payment Options - No Service Fee

  • Check payments by mail or in person - Village Municipal Center, 555 Reinking Rd., Pingree Grove, IL 60140, normal business hours Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
  • 24/7 Secured Utility Drop Box - located in the Municipal Center parking lot, check payments only
  • Personal Banking Online Bill Pay - this process can take up to 10 days for payment to be received, please schedule your payment accordingly to ensure payment received by date due. 

Utility Bill Payment Assistance

LIHWAP, Low Income Household Water Assistance Program, provides grant funds to assist low-income households with water and wastewater bills.  LIHWAP does not provide direct grants to individuals; fund are directly applied to your utility account. LIHWAP does not charge a fee for receiving a benefit.
