Park Advisory Committee

Overview

The Park Advisory Committee is a volunteer committee serving the Village Board in an advisory role concerning improvements to the Village's parks and open spaces. The Park Advisory Committee solicits grants and other funding for such improvements and makes recommendations to the Village Board regarding potential enhancements to recreational opportunities throughout the village. The Park Advisory Committee also serves as liaison to the Kane County Forest Preserve District to facilitate shared recreational opportunities in area forest preserves.

Duties



Duties of the Parks Advisory Committee include: 
  • Advising the Village Board on matters that impact the parks,
  • Investigating matters related to the development and progress of the parks and make recommendations to the Village Board on such matters
