The Finance Department provides financial management and support to the Village Board, Commissions and Village departments.  The Department prepares and monitors the annual budget, records and reports all financial transactions, bills and collects monies due the Village, prepares employee payroll, pays vendors for goods and services, prepares the Village’s tax levies, manages the annual independent audits, and monitors Tax Incremental Financing districts and Special Service Areas.  The Finance Department also administers the Village’s employee benefit plan and coordinates risk management and insurance plans.
