Village Development

The Village understands and respects the need to promote commercial and business activity in the village to balance the tax base of our beautiful residential community that exists today. To that end, the village is in the process of creating a new business park along state route 20 for commercial and light industrial users. When completed, the 100+ acre Pingree Grove Business Park will be the home to approximately 15 new business establishments.

The village has approved the preliminary plat for the commercial development of 12 acres of land along state route 72 immediately west of Reinking Road. The focus of this development will be to provide essential services and sales tax revenues to the village.

The village has annexed and rezoned for commercial purposes approximately 50 acres of land along state route 47 at the intersection of state routes 20 & 47. It is anticipated that this commercial property will attract larger users such as a major chain grocery store. The village continues to work with numerous interested parties.
