Highland Avenue Closed - Reinking to Damisch

Please note that Highland Avenue between Damisch Road and Reinking Road is now closed.  This road is within the City of Elgin's jurisdiction and control.  Due to its condition, potential liability issues and cost to restore it to a drivable condition, the City of Elgin has made a policy decision to close the road indefinitely.  Motorists are advised to take Reinking Road to Damisch via the round-a-bout.
